Program Highlights:

  • This tour invites you to see firsthand what is going on in Palestine and Israel. You will hear stories of the people who live here (living Stones) and taste the incredible food and cuisine of Palestine. In the morning you will wake to the smell the freshly brewed Arabic Coffee being prepared daily by your host family before visiting religious and historical sites in the Holy Land. You will meet politicians, clergy, and community leaders, as well as members of peace organizations and activists representing both sides in this unique Holy Land experience.

 Our Daily Itinerary

11 September: Arrival

When you arrive at the Tel Aviv Airport you will meet our local guide and driver where we will board our motor coaches and drive to the hotel in Bethlehem. Once checked in, we will have dinner and stay in the hotel for the evening.

12 September: Bethlehem

After breakfast we will visit the Church of Nativity which was built over the place where Jesus was born. From there we will visit Shepherd’s Field where it is believed the shepherds received the good news of the birth of Jesus from the Angels. Lunch will be had at a local Bedouin style restaurant where we will enjoy a meal in the style of what would have been served in biblical times in this land. We will then meet with Christian Leaders to learn about current situation and enjoy a free afternoon in Bethlehem where we can enjoy walking around manger square, shopping at the local markets and taking in the sights and sounds of this Holy City before meeting back together for dinner in Bethlehem where we will spend the night again.

13 September: Ein Gedi, Dead Sea, and Jericho

After breakfast we will enjoy a day full of history and relaxation as we Drive to Ein Gedi to be in the place where David composed several of his Psalms. From there we will visit Qumran where the ancient biblical texts of the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Bring your bathing suits today because after lunch we will spend time floating in the Dead Sea where you can cover yourselves in mud and discover the rejuvenating minerals that live in the lowest place on earth. After some relaxation we will visit Jericho where Zacchaeus climbed the Sycamore Tree to see Jesus as he came into town. We will also see the Mount of Temptation where Jesus was tempted by the devil and gain a deeper connection with the Biblical text as we see behold this land. We will again spend the night in Bethlehem where we will have dinner as well.


14 September: Jerusalem

After breakfast we will experience and enjoy the Old City of Jerusalem. Standing at the Temple Mount and walking the Via Dolorosa we will breathe in the air of this great city as we journey where so many have before us. The Via Dolorosa will take us to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher where Jesus is believed to have been crucified and buried before rising on the third day. From here we will venture just outside the Old City to the Mount of Olives which offers unrivaled views of Jerusalem and visit the Garden of Gethsemane. Lastly, we will see the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus healed the man on the Sabbath. To end this full day, we will have dinner and stay the night, again, in Bethlehem.

15 September: Bethlehem

We will start our day by sharing prayer and worship with the people of Bethlehem as we attend Sunday Mass at a local church. We will then continue our communion and enjoy lunch with members of the local Christian community. After lunch we will visit a local Christian Olive Wood Factory and take some time to shop in Bethlehem before retiring for dinner and a restful night in Bethlehem.

16 September: Caesarea, Megiddo, and Mount Carmel

In the morning we will leave Bethlehem and head to the Mediterranean coast. Here we will visit St. Peter’s Church in Jaffa and then drive to Caesarea Maritima, a city which was the center of life for early Christians. After this we will continue to Tel Megiddo, a historic site which goes by the Greek name Armageddon before we drive north to visit Mount Carmel. Be sure to pack your bags in the morning because we be having dinner and spending the night in Nazareth.

17 September: 
Nazareth - Sea of Galilee

In the morning we will stay in Nazareth and visit the Church of Annunciation which was built on the site of the home of the Virgin Mary. From there we will venture to Cana in the Galilee where Jesus performed his first miracle of turning water into wine. A trip to the Sea of Galilee to visit the beautiful city Capernaum will follow where we will experience the place in which Jesus spent his daily life. Staying near the Sea of Galilee we will visit the Mount of Beatitude, Tabgha, where Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes, and St. Peters primacy. Following this we will take an amazing boat ride on Sea of Galilee and followed by fish for lunch at St. Peters Restaurant. The afternoon will be spent at the Jordan River to visit the site where John baptized Jesus, after which we will return to Nazareth for dinner and to spend the night.

18 September: Nablus - Mt Gerizim

Today we will visit the Samaritan community at Mount Gerizim in Nablus, where it is believed by locals to be the highest, oldest, and most central mountain in the world. We will visit Jacob’s Well Church and enjoy shopping at the market of the Old City of Nablus and delicious eating Knafeh. We will then drive back to Bethlehem for farewell dinner and spend the night in Bethlehem before heading to the airport the following day.

19 December: Departure

After breakfast we will check out of the hotel and head to the airport for our flight home.
